Confirmation of Entry & Refund Policy
The entry includes one souvenir garment per registered athlete, to be distributed at Race Package pick-up. All entrants will get the garment if registered by August 15th. We cannot guarantee a garment if registered after August 15th. Late registrants will receive their garment via mail following the event if not available at time of Race Package pick-up.

NOTE: NO REFUNDS, CARRYOVERS, OR TRANSFERS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, INCLUDING MEDICAL REASON AFTER AUGUST 14TH. THIS INCLUDES RACE CANCELLATION DUE TO ANY ACT OF GOD OR FORCE MAJEURE, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WEATHER, FIRE, FLOOD, STRIKE, LAB OUR DISPUTE, CIVIL COMMOTION, RIOT OR THREAT, OR SIMILAR CAUSE BEYOND THE CONTROL OF BC ATHLETICS. PARTIAL REFUNDS OF $50 WILL BE AVAILABLE UNTIL AUGUST 14TH.
TRANSFER OF FEES BETWEEN RUNNERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. Substitutions of non-registered runners will only be allowed after the substituting runner has registered and paid the entry fee by not later than Friday September 13th close of race package pick-up. The runner dropping out of the event will need to apply for a refund as per the policy above by August 14th.
Each team member must submit a completed and signed Release, Waiver & Assumption of Risk.
I recognize and understand the risks associated with competing in the Steve King 100km Classic Relay race. I hereby affirm that I have trained and am physically capable of completing the Steve King 100km Classic Relay race for which I have registered. I consent to receive medical treatment, which may be advisable in the event of illness or injury suffered by me during my participation in the event. I agree that I have read and understand and to comply with the Rules and Regulations and event instructions of the Steve King 100km Classic Relay race, and in consideration of acceptance of this entry by Peach City Athletics Inc., and 0777343 BC Ltd., I for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive any and all claims for injuries or damages and agree not to sue Peach City Athletics Inc., 0777343 BC Ltd., any and all municipalities, regional districts, the Province of British Columbia, race volunteers, sponsors and/or their agents and representatives, and BC Athletics, caused by the neglect of any of them arising out of my participation in this event, including pre and post events. I understand there are no refunds, transfers or carry-overs for any reason, INCLUDING MEDICAL.
All Male (no age limit), All Female (no age limit), Mixed (no age limit: minimum of 1 person of the opposite gender), Police/Fire/Military/Emergency Services (no age limit or gender limit, majority of members must be employed in the services described), Corporate Challenge (no age limit or gender limit, majority of members must be employed by the same company).
Each team must have two (2) minimum and no more than eight (8) registered runners. Each runner must be assigned a specific leg of the event.
Substitutions of registered athletes within the team will be allowed up to Saturday September 14th close of race package pick-up. Substitutions of non-registered athletes must be made online or when picking up race packets on Friday September 13th only. If you are picking up your race package at the late check in on Saturday September 14th, substitutions of non-registered athletes will not be allowed.
Team Race Plan
The Team Captain will be responsible for registering the team name through the online registration process. The Team Captain may register each runner and assign the leg number for each OR each runner may register themselves online by September 12th at midnight and include all necessary information including team name and leg assignment. Entry fees must be paid at the time of registration. Substituting runners will need to register online and the runner dropping from the team will need to make a request for refund. See Refund Policy above.
Friday September 13th (4:00 pm – 8:00 pm) at: Riverside Community Centre, 148 Old Hedley Road, Princeton, BC.
There will be limited package pick-up on race day morning between 6:00 am and 6:45 am, but NO day of race registration. Race start is punctual and will not be held up for athletes not picking up their packages in the prescribed times.
Start Time: 7:00 am — All Relay Teams
The Relay course will close at 12 (7:00 pm) hours. There will be a Forced Start at the final exchange at 11 (6:00 pm) hours. No runner will be allowed to start the final leg after that time.
Race Morning Check-in and Briefing — 6:00 am to 6:45 am, Start Area – KVR Behind Subway Restaurant.
- Race briefing and crew briefing will be immediately before the start at the start area.
- On race morning each runner must check in.
The organizers reserve the right to adjust, combine or alter the depth of prizes in any category(s) as numbers of teams in any category(s) warrant. Normally medals are awarded 3 deep in each category.
The Steve King 100km Classic Awards Ceremony will be held as soon as possible following the close of the course and the calculation of official times and awards has been completed. The Awards Ceremony will be held at Memorial Park, Summerland, the Finish line for the event.
NOTE: If you cannot attend the Awards Ceremony please make arrangements for someone to pick up your medal. Medals, prizes and event products will NOT be mailed out.
Draw prizes will be distributed to those in attendance by a predetermined draw and the names and prize won will be available at the finish line Prize Table. Please check the listing and with the volunteer at the table if you have won a prize. Prizes not claimed will be distributed at the Awards Ceremony.
